6:00     Coffee Pot open at Scout-O-Rama HQ

            Showers open at TX National Guard Armory (SM’s only ‘till 10:00)

7:00     Reveille & breakfast time

            7:30     SM briefing at Scout-O-Rama HQ

            Commissioners report for duty at Scout-O-Rama HQ

            Parking crews report to Scout-O-Rama HQ

8:00     Clean troop sites for inspection

            Gateway attendants report to stations

            Parking attendants report to assigned area

            Check in for participants at Scout-O-Rama HQ begins

            Participants begin Setup: time extends until 11:00

            Cub scouts arrive

8:45     Troops meet @ campfire for flag ceremony, morning devotion, and announcements

9:00     Troops set up gateways and displays

            Assigned troops finish setups for district gateways, flagpole

            Campsite inspection

            Civic and military displays arrive

10:00   Show area closed to all vehicle traffic

            All vehicles moved to assigned parking areas.

            Safety Inspection of all programs

10:45   Meeting at Scout-O-Rama HQ with all opening ceremony presenters

11:00   Troop reps. with troop flags report to flagpole for opening ceremony

11:30   Opening ceremony at the stage for all troops and participants

12:00 – 6:00 All activities are open

            Boy scout activities

            Rope Runner Competition

            Pinewood derby races

            Civil war and mountain man

            Military displays

            OA Village

            Civic Displays

5:30     Dutch oven cook off judging at stage

            Fireworks immediately following show

            Park Closes to public

            Reveille & breakfast for troops

8:30     Morning Service

9:30     Awards Ceremony

10:30   Reopen Park to vehicles

            Mobilization of all troops for show shakedown (except for tents and city services)

            All help to break down Scout-O-Rama display (assigned areas)

            Troops complete breaking troop camps, and departure

12:00   Free Pizza for everyone breaking down camp

1:00     Park wide garbage walk, all troops (assign areas to troops camping)

            Clean up ball field (debris from fireworks show)

Vehicle parking for Scout-O-Rama

1.      All vehicles are to park in the designated parking areas per the map.

2.      Saturday- For safety reasons, there shall be NO vehicles in the Midway Area between the hours of 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and 7 pm on Saturday.

3.      Once a vehicle has been loaded/unloaded, it is to move from the midway to the designated parking area immediately.
